Summary

Entravision is seeking a dynamic, digitally savvy Anchor to join our national Spanish-language streaming news team. The ideal candidate is a strong journalist, storyteller, and communicator with a deep understanding of the Hispanic community in the United States, Latin America, and major international news developments.

Essential Functions

• Anchor live and recorded news programs across streaming and digital platforms.
• Write, edit, and deliver compelling news content in Spanish.
• Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and community leaders.
• Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, and digital teams on daily coverage.
• Participate in breaking news coverage, special reports, and live events.
• Contribute story ideas relevant to Hispanic audiences in the U.S. and abroad.
• Engage audiences across digital and social media platforms.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Native-level Spanish and English writing and speaking skills
• Minimum 5 years of on-air experience at a national Spanish-language television or streaming news network.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Hispanic communities, Latin America, and international affairs.
• Excellent writing, interviewing, and live presentation skills.
• Digital-first mindset with experience creating content for streaming and social platforms.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and breaking news situations.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to perform under deadline pressure.
• Experience in live breaking news environments.
• Familiarity with newsroom systems, digital publishing tools, and social media platforms.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Reports directly to VP Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives for Broadcast
