Summary

Entravision is seeking an experienced Line Producer to lead fast-paced, live news coverage for our national Spanish-language streaming news platform. This role is ideal for a producer who thrives during breaking news, understands digital-first storytelling, and knows how to create visually compelling content for today's audiences..

Essential Functions

• Produce live daily newscasts and special breaking news coverage.
• Build and manage rundowns in a fast-paced, continuously evolving news environment.
• Collaborate with Executive Producers, anchors, writers, assignment editors, and control room teams to deliver accurate and engaging coverage.
• Lead editorial decisions during breaking news while maintaining strong journalistic standards.
• Work closely with graphic designers to create compelling visual storytelling that enhances the viewer experience.
• Integrate video, graphics, social media, and digital content into live productions.
• Identify new storytelling formats inspired by streaming platforms and emerging social media trends.
• Ensure shows are delivered on time while maintaining exceptional production quality.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Line Producer in a live television news environment with extensive breaking news coverage.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish is required.
• Strong editorial judgment and deep knowledge of U.S. Hispanic, Latin American, and international news.
• Experience producing live, rolling news coverage under tight deadlines.
• Highly creative with a strong visual sense and the ability to maximize graphics and production elements.
• Digital-first mindset with strong knowledge of streaming platforms, social media trends, and audience engagement strategies.
• Comfortable working flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as news dictates.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with newsroom computer systems and modern broadcast production workflows.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Reports directly to VP Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives for Broadcast
