Graphic Designer

Summary

Entravision is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Graphics Designer / Unreal Engine Artist / AI Content Creator to join our fast-paced national streaming news team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, emerging technologies, and creating compelling graphics that elevate breaking news coverage across broadcast, streaming, and social platforms.

Essential Functions

• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, explainer graphics, maps, charts, and visual assets for live and recorded news programming.
• Build and operate virtual environments and on-air graphics using Unreal Engine.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate graphic design, image generation, video creation, and newsroom workflows while maintaining editorial standards.
• Collaborate closely with Executive Producers, Line Producers, Writers, and Technical Directors to develop creative visual storytelling.
• Create graphics optimized for television, streaming, digital, and social media platforms.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt quickly during breaking news and live coverage.
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI, virtual production, motion graphics, and digital storytelling.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in broadcast graphics, motion design, or digital content creation.
• Strong written Spanish is essential for creating accurate editorial graphics and on-screen text.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or virtual production workflows is highly preferred.
• Experience using AI creative tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, or similar platforms is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and newsroom workflows.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during breaking news coverage.
• Someone who enjoys experimenting with new technologies and AI-powered production tools.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Reports directly to VP Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives for Broadcast
