Independent publishers face a lot of the same challenges — but enterprise publishers face them at scale. They're managing multiple accounts, navigating digital transformation, and trying to align their business strategy with the tools and services they're investing in. They need more than support. They need a strategic partner who can see the whole picture.
In addition to this one-to-one enterprise client support, local publishers need one-to-many programming that respects their limited time and drives meaningful results. They don't need another webinar series — they need strategic, proven methods to defend their independence.
The Partnership Lead, Enterprise & Programs, meets these needs. This is a full time, relationship-led role that sits at the intersection of digital strategy, audience development, and business outcomes to directly support Indiegraf's enterprise clients and design programming for the larger publisher network. You'll be making sure our publishers have the right strategy, are connected to the right people, and are getting real value from their relationship with Indiegraf. This role is responsible for building revenue-generating services and programs that drive results for publishers.
What you'll do
Own strategic relationships with Indiegraf's enterprise publisher clients (multi-account and high-value publishers)
Act as the primary digital strategist for your portfolio — assessing each publisher's audience and advertising strategy, identifying gaps, and connecting clients to the right internal and external resources, including contractors
Design and manage network programs that meaningfully benefit publishers
Contribute to strategic work to grow enterprise and programming opportunities, including fundraising and sales efforts
Create playbooks, training materials and case studies
Collaborate closely with the Director of Local Media Partnerships and the fractional services team (audience and advertising) to deliver integrated, high-touch engagements
Work alongside the Senior Director of Product Strategy & Enterprise Solutions for technical diligence when clients need deeper product guidance, ensuring our technology is serving our partners' goals — and that their services are aligned with what our platform can deliver
Represent enterprise client needs internally — surfacing patterns, flagging risks, and advocating for the product changes that matter most to this segment
Identify opportunities for value-add services to meet publishers’ needs
What success looks like
Enterprise publishers feel like Indiegraf sees them as partners, not just clients. Their digital strategy is sharper. Their technology is working for them. And when they need something — a fractional expert, a product fix, a strategic conversation — they know exactly who to call. Program participants can directly point to the value they have gained, and the Indiegraf network broadly adopts proven strategies.
Job Requirements
Experience in digital strategy, account management, or consulting — ideally in media or publishing
Strong understanding of audience development and/or advertising strategy for digital publishers
A connector by nature — you know when to bring in expertise rather than going it alone, and you're trusted by the people you work with
Program management expertise, including trainings, managing timelines, creating deliverables and tracking results
Comfortable working with enterprise or multi-account clients who have complex, layered needs
Collaborative and comfortable across functions — this role touches product, services, customer support, and leadership
Relationship-oriented for the long haul; enterprise client work requires continuity and trust built over time
Spanish proficiency would be beneficial, though not required
