KCRA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Sacramento has an opening for an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to serve as administrative support to the station and assist other departments. You will provide support by performing several tasks that contribute to the daily operations of the departments. The Receptionist will serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them; notify company personnel of visitor arrivals; maintain security, perform clerical tasks and operating the Cisco telecommunications switchboard. You will report to the Business Manager.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors in person and over the phone, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
Manage incoming inquiries—provide information, answer questions, and direct calls or visitors to the appropriate contacts.
Oversee visitor security protocols, including maintaining the guest log and issuing visitor badges.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe reception and common area.
Order, track, and replenish general office and breakroom supplies.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, including express and USPS deliveries.
Support continuity across departments by documenting and communicating key actions and updates.
Schedule and manage meetings, including maintaining conference room calendars.
Assist with booking travel and processing expense reports for station employees.
Provide administrative support for management and the Executive Assistant, including project and event coordination.
Full-time position, five eight-hour shifts per week; start times may vary between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. depending on events.

Salary
The estimated base salary range for this role is between $44,000 and $52,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
