  • Searching and identifying grants at the state and national level that could help fund various Voces activities from events, to administrative costs, to intern stipends. This could include grants from local Idaho foundations, to national foundations supporting journalists, bilingual journalism, Latino communities, democracy, youth education, civic engagement or rural communities.

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive database of grant opportunities and deadlines

  • Taking full ownership of creating applications from the ground up

  • Maintain accurate records of grant applications, outcomes, and reporting requirements

  • Collaborate with program managers to develop compelling narratives that effectively communicate our programs' impact

Familiarity with journalism, Latinos, Idaho, nonprofits and fundraising is desired, but not required. Successful candidates will be strong writers, responsive, able to meet deadlines, and have a clear understanding of the Voces mission.
