The Knight Science Journalism Program at MIT seeks to nurture and enhance the ability of journalists from around the world to accurately document the often-complex intersection of science, technology, and human culture. This emphasis is reflected in its core mid-career fellowship program, which includes specialized training programs, seminars, and an option to write for the program’s magazine. The program's commitment to science journalism is also reflected in its public-facing magazine Undark — an editorially independent, digital publication launched in April 2016.
