The DC Voice is an online media outlet that offers information on the latest news, businesses, and events in the community. We are recruiting freelance reporters to cover news and events in all 8 Wards of Washington, DC. All posts will be community-focused and involve local community leaders, businesses, and influencers.

Reporters must be dynamic and able to use various online media platforms. All content must be interactive, i.e., virtual or live interviews, on-site coverage, etc. The ideal candidate will be comfortable posting on social media platforms. 

Job Requirements

• At  least two years of journalism experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Community-based reporting
• Excellent writing skills
• Able to meet deadlines
• Dynamic and creative
