Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a Communications Director to make a real difference in the lives of others and to find personal fulfillment in your role.  We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic leader to serve as the agency’s Communications Director and lead worker of the Communications Office staff. In this role, you will develop, implement and oversee the agency’s communications infrastructure, strategic communications plan, and agency-wide and program-specific communication strategies. You will coordinate inclusive external and internal communications that supports the diversity of OYA youth, families and employees. Additionally, the communications director plays a key role in the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies across the agency. As a member of the OYA Executive team, you provide governance and oversight of the DEI initiative to ensure all strategies reflect an empathetic culture with diverse perspectives that focuses on equitable outcomes.
