The Better Government Association was founded in 1923 and is celebrating its 100th annivresary of serving Illinois residents in 2023.  The BGA publishes the Illinois Answers Project, an investigative and solutions-focused news outlet launched in 2022, as well as BGA Policy, which advocates for more transparent, accountable, and efficient government through public policy reform.
