EverOut is a fast-growing event discovery platform covering entertainment, food, and culture in Seattle, Portland, and now Chicago. Brought to you by Noisy Creek, the company behind The Reader, EverOut is the go-to resource for everything that’s happening in Chicago. 

The Role 

We're seeking a versatile Staff Writer to join our team. In this evolving position, you'll contribute to EverOut’s mission by creating engaging content of all kinds about the diverse happenings in Chicago (from art shows to concerts, restaurant openings to film screenings, cultural festivals, and more) while helping maintain and curate our event calendar, inspiring our community, and contributing to our company’s growth. This is a dynamic role, where flexibility and collaboration will be key. If you're the go-to person in your friend group to make plans for a night out, we want to hear from you!

Additional Information 

This is a full-time, non-exempt, union position. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, though hours can vary with this role, including some evening and weekend work. Applicants should live in the Chicago metro area.
