Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts seeks a seasoned sports media journalist to join our faculty as an Artistic Assistant Professor of Sports Media, Non-Tenure Track, effective Fall 2026.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach four courses in both the fall and spring semesters, which would include an introductory sports reporting class for freshmen, a sports podcasting class and a capstone class of juniors and seniors that will produce a live half time and post-game show.  They will also also mentor undergraduate students within the Documentary, Sports Media and Journalism major, serve on university and Dodge College committees and other service projects as assigned, and maintain currency in the industry.
